Real Sociedad agree €20m Orri Óskarsson deal

La Liga outfit Real Sociedad have on Friday closed a deal for a fresh addition to the club’s attacking ranks.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Orri Óskarsson as the player in question.

Óskarsson, for those not familiar with his name, is a 19-year-old Icelandic international, fresh off something of a breakout campaign on the books of Danish giants Copenhagen.

All told, in 41 appearances across all competitions, the youngster racked up a head-turning 15 goals and eight assists.

Such production piqued the attentions of a whole host of clubs across the continent, eager to bring Óskarsson in with a view to the season ahead.

And, as alluded to above, on Friday, one such outfit have secured an agreement with their counterparts at Copenhagen.
