Real Madrid youngster travels for Brest clash, despite not being eligible to play
Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has called upon a member of the club’s youth ranks to aid his side in their preparations for tomorrow’s meeting with Stade Brestois.
That’s according to Jorge C Picon of Relevo, who highlights Lorenzo Aguado as the player in question.
Real Madrid are of course primed to return to action in a little over 24 hours’ time.
Fresh off another dominant victory to consolidate their advantage atop the La Liga table over the weekend, Los Blancos have turned attentions back towards matters on the continent.
A Champions League meeting with the aforementioned Brest lies in wait, at the Stade de Roudourou.
Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, in turn, made the trip to France earlier today, to ramp up preparations for the matchup.
And, as alluded to above, joining Real’s star-studded ranks on their journey was up-and-coming defender Lorenzo Aguado.
Despite not being eligible to play his part in Wednesday’s clash, right-back Aguado, amid the long-term absence of Dani Carvajal, will help out in training drills and matches between ranks over the coming 24 hours.
