Real Madrid secured the signing of Arda Guler amid intense competition from top European clubs last season.

The promising Turkish talent was expected to feature regularly throughout the season. However, injuries sidelined him for much of the campaign, making him one of the many casualties on the team’s roster.

Opportunities were still scarce when he made his long-awaited comeback to the pitch as coach Carlo Ancelotti was unwilling to deviate from his established team.

Even so, Guler grabbed every chance he got by the scruff of the neck and made a lasting impact in the closing games of the season, proving himself worthy of more minutes.

The 19-year-old even extended his form into the UEFA Euro 2024 with Turkey, producing some inspiring moments for his team and scoring one of the tournament’s best goals.

Now, as the new season approaches, Guler aims to build on the successful foundations he has already laid.

Moreover, the youngster has enhanced his physique by adding muscle mass and continuously working out in the gym, meeting the coaching staff’s expectations.

He showcased his immense quality and aptitude from the moment he started pre-season training. In fact, yesterday in a live training session hosted by the club, Guler assisted new signing Endrick twice.

The report goes on to add that Arda Guler is poised to play a much bigger role at Real Madrid in the upcoming season.

Following a period of adaptation, he feels ready and hungrier than ever. Competition in the front line will be abundant, but Los Blancos recognizes that having elite options to rotate with is necessary to avoid injuries and compete at the highest level.
