Real Madrid star spotted back in group training before Real Sociedad
A headline member of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid was on Thursday spotted back in group training, alongside the rest of the club’s stars.
The player in question? Éder Militão.
Stopper Militão of course set alarm bells ringing in Spain’s capital last week.
As much came upon the former Porto standout being forced into a premature departure from international duty with Brazil.
Upon Militão’s return to base in Madrid, Los Blancos released a statement, as follows:
‘Following tests carried out today by Real Madrid’s Medical Services on our player Éder Militão, he has been diagnosed with a muscular injury due to a strain in the rectus abdominis muscle of his right leg.’
The 26-year-old’s status to feature in Real’s post-international break return to action against Real Sociedad this weekend, in turn, was considered as being very much up in the air.
As alluded to above, though, on Thursday, Militão’s chances of lining out at Anoeta took a significant step in the right direction.
This comes after the defender was spotted back in group training, alongside the rest of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad:
