An incoming member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is ready to cut short his summer vacation.

That’s according to Diario AS, who point towards Endrick as the player in question.

Frontman Endrick, for his part, is of course fresh off playing his part in Brazil’s hugely disappointing Copa América quarter-final exit at the hands of Uruguay.

The 17-year-old, however, is evidently not ready to allow as much to spoil his motivation.

Endrick is set to fly out to Madrid on July 21st, to at last sign in as a member of his new club’s first-team squad on his 18th birthday.

The striker, from here, has been given permission to enjoy more free time, as part of his delayed summer vacation.

But Endrick, it is understood, has absolutely no intention of taking Real Madrid up on their offer.

As per AS, the idea of the teenage prodigy is to immediately begin training with his new teammates, before embarking on Los Blancos’ pre-season tour of the USA on July 28th.

This comes with a view to ‘winning the favour’ of manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Endrick is set to be faced with stiff competition in his battle for minutes at the Santiago Bernabéu this season, but, evidently, the Brazilian considers himself as more than up to the task.
