What is Real Madrid’s stance on Barcelona registering Dani Olmo?

An insight into the stance of the brass at La Liga giants Real Madrid when it comes to the efforts of arch rivals Barcelona to register Dani Olmo has this week been provided.

The name of midfielder Olmo has of course dominated the headlines across all of Spain for over a week now.

This comes after Barcelona saw the deadline for the club’s summer signing to be registered for the 2nd half of the campaign pass without news.

Despite appeals to both La Liga and the RFEF, Olmo, in turn, remains ineligible to line out for Hansi Flick’s side at present.

Amid their ongoing efforts to rectify the situation, Barca have faced pushback on the part of a number of fellow Spanish top-flight sides, eager for the Blaugrana not to be afforded any kind of special treatment.

If the latest word stemming from the media over the last 24 hours is anything to go by, however, then Real Madrid are not one of the clubs involved.

In fact, as per a report from Onda Cero’s Radioestadio Noche:

‘Real Madrid fully support the registration of Dani Olmo.’
