An X account named Leandesign has claimed that Jude Bellingham, the star player of Real Madrid, is set to grace the cover of EA FC 25.

This is quite significant, as Real Madrid players have not frequently featured on the cover of this popular video game franchise.

The last time a player from the Merengues was highlighted was in 2019 when Eden Hazard shared the spotlight with Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk.

Real Madrid’s history with the game’s cover is quite modest. Between 2009 and 2017, only two players made the cut: former midfielder Ricardo Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo appeared again in 2018, but by then, he had transferred to Juventus.

Another player, Gareth Bale, featured on the cover of FIFA 14. However, he shared this honour with Barcelona’s Lionel Messi.

Notably, in the past three years, the cover star was Kylian Mbappe, but he appeared in the Paris Saint-Germain kit.

A deserving candidate

Jude Bellingham’s inclusion as the cover star for EA FC 25 makes perfect sense. In his debut season with Real Madrid, the English midfielder defied expectations by scoring 23 goals and providing 13 assists across 42 matches in all competitions.

His outstanding performance has not gone unnoticed, and the 21-year-old is now in the running for this year’s Ballon d’Or.

Bellingham’s journey with Real Madrid has been nothing short of remarkable. Despite his young age, he has shown maturity and skill on the field, quickly becoming a key player for the team.

His impressive statistics are a testament to his hard work and dedication. Being featured on the cover of EA FC 25 is a fitting recognition of his talent and contributions to the sport.

Currently, Bellingham is also playing in the final of the European Championship. Although his performance has been somewhat affected by a shoulder injury, his determination and resilience continue to shine through.

A victory against Spain in the final could bolster his chances of winning the prestigious Ballon d’Or, further cementing his status as one of the top players in the world.
