In recent years, Real Madrid have emerged as one of the most likely destinations for the most highly-rated talents emerging throughout the world. The Merengues have now clearly balanced their policy of buying the best and most marketable players, Galacticos, with pursuing highly talented gems who have the potential to turn into Galacticos themselves in the future.

In recent years, Los Blancos have incorporated the likes of Eduardo Camavinga, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes, Arda Guler, and Endrick under this new policy. Keeping in view the success they have had with these players, there is no reason Real Madrid should change course.

In fact, a report from Mundo Deportivo shows that the Merengues are fully committed to this policy, and are quite serious about another highly-rated youngster, the Argentine Franco Mastantuono.

The European champions have been linked with the Argentine gem for some time now, but now, the report claims that they have already made a serious offer for Mastantuono.

The attacking midfielder is already valued at around €45 million at only 16 years of age. However, the Merengues have sent in an offer of around €25 million for now, which is also considerable for a player of his age.

While Mastantuono has amazed a lot of people with his football in the last few months, his biggest advocate at the White club is the Director of Football, Santi Solari, who is an Argentine himself. The former coach is also leading the talks for the midfield pearl.

To successfully complete this operation, Real Madrid are looking to follow the same formula that they used for Endrick’s signing. Thus, they will get Mastantuono tied up this summer but will let him remain at River Plate for another year so he can mature further before making such a big jump in his career.
