Real Madrid predicted XI v Lille: Kylian Mbappé on the bench, Rodrygo to start
Kylian Mbappé wasn’t expected to play any part at all in Real Madrid’s UEFA Champions League encounter against Lille OSC. While he has made the trip to northern France with his teammates, he is not expected to start the match.
Instead, it is expected to be Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo who lead the line for Real Madrid with England international Jude Bellingham playing a supporting role just behind them. Mbappé’s compatriot, Eduardo Camavinga, who is also working up fitness following a return from injury, is also expected to have a place on the bench, but Aurélien Tchouaméni is expected to start in the heart of midfield.
Real Madrid are without Thibaut Courtois, David Alaba, Dani Ceballos and Brahím Diaz, all of whom miss the match against Lille through injury.
