Being a professional footballer comes with its perks. The massive wage packets only scratch the surface as players at the top of the game often receive gifts and freebies just for being at certain clubs.

Real Madrid’s players have been on the receiving end of such treatment in recent days, as a new sponsorship deal has meant that the whole squad as well as Carlo Ancelotti have received new luxury cars just in time for the Madrid derby at the weekend.

As per Marca, the club has agreed on a deal with BMW, with the German manufacturer giving the club’s stars the choice of five different models: the iX2, the iX, the i5 the i7  and the XM.

The cars range in price from €58,000 to €186,000, with Antonio Rüdiger and Auriel Tchouameni going for the more modest options while Lucas Vázquez and Vini Jr. went for the most expensive.

The Real Madrid women’s team will also receive cars as part of the deal, which is currently set to last three years.
