Speaking on Europe 1 (h/t Daily Mail), journalist Cyril Hanouna has sensationally claimed that former Barcelona and PSG superstar Neymar has sent a warning to Real Madrid players about Kylian Mbappe.

Neymar and Mbappe were teammates at PSG for years and tasted plenty of domestic success together in France. But there were always murmurs about things not being okay between the two superstars.

Neymar left PSG in the summer of 2023 to join Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia while Mbappe signed for Real Madrid this summer.

Now, as per the aforementioned journalist, Neymar has already sent a warning to the Brazilian players at Real Madrid about playing with Mbappe.

“The Brazilians [at Real Madrid] are friends with Neymar. It has always been a war between Neymar and Mbappe. Neymar has sent a paper about Mbappe to the Brazilians, telling them that it was catastrophic, that it was hell,” said Hanouna.

Real Madrid have a strong Brazilian presence in the dressing room with Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo Goes, and Eder Militao while Endrick also joined the club this past summer.

It is no secret that the Brazilian stars at Real Madrid have a close relationship with Neymar, having shared the national team dressing room with him. In fact, recently, Rodrygo named the ex-Barcelona superstar as his idol.

There were some concerns about how Mbappe’s signing would be received by the big names at Real Madrid. But despite what Hanouna suggests, things appear to be going very smoothly thus far.

Vinicius and Mbappe showed just that when the former mimicked the latter’s celebration after he scored a penalty against Real Sociedad this weekend.

Manager Carlo Ancelotti also downplayed any such issues during a press conference last week and the general feeling within the club is that Mbappe has settled in very well at Real Madrid.
