Real Madrid begin their preseason on Wednesday night in the United States of America where they will lock horns against AC Milan.

The game will be the first of three pre-season friendlies scheduled in the USA, with the next two games planned against Barcelona and Chelsea respectively.

Carlo Ancelotti currently has a semi-complete squad at his disposal with several internationals still missing from his artillery. The Brazilians, however, appear set to participate in some capacity in the tour.

Eyes on El Clasico

Luka Modric, Arda Guler and Thibaut Courtois are some of the team’s big names already training under Ancelotti’s command.

As revealed by Jorge C Picon, now Los Blancos will be boosted by the return of Vinicius Jr, Eder Militao and Rodrygo soon. The trio will land in Chicago later today and will begin training on August 1st.

All three players have been working hard to stay fit even through their vacations. They will indeed be far from completely match-fit for El Clasico but Ancelotti hopes to provide them some minutes in the iconic New York clash.

Needless to say, the management will keep a keen eye on their fitness and analyse their situation before taking a final call on their participation.

A week from a complete squad

Players including Kylian Mbappe, Federico Valverde, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, Jude Bellingham and Dani Carvajal progressed deep into the international tournaments held last month.

They are thus still on vacation and will return to training only once the team returns to Madrid next week.

The manager is thus very close to having the complete squad at his disposal ahead of a crucial season.
