La Liga giants Real Madrid have early this week been afforded some altogether positive news on the personnel front.

This comes ahead of another busy week to come for the Spanish champions.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops are fresh off making it four wins on the spin over the weekend, owing to a 4-1 drubbing of Espanyol in La Liga.

Little rest, though, awaits Los Blancos, ahead of a meeting with Deportivo Alavés on Tuesday, followed by a Madrid derby showdown with city rivals Atlético on Sunday night.

In turn, it came as a major source of concern when, speaking to the media on the back of his side’s victory over Espanyol, Carlo Ancelotti admitted that both Dani Carvajal and Jude Bellingham had picked up knocks.

The former was subsequently omitted from Real’s squad to face Alavés, but, after Bellingham was included, Ancelotti this afternoon announced:

“Jude Bellingham has recovered. He’s available and will play.”

And the good news did not end there for those of a Blancos persuasion, with the club’s headmaster having also provided the following update on long-term absentee Eduardo Camavinga:

“Camavinga? The plan is for him to train on Thursday and to be available for the derby.”
