Real Madrid fans fume over opening goal in Valencia clash
Supporters of La Liga giants Real Madrid have this evening made clear their frustration with the officiating in the club’s latest outing.
Real, of course, are currently locked in action.
In the club’s first outing of the new year, Los Blancos have made the trip to Mestalla, for a La Liga meeting with Valencia.
In the knowledge that a victory would see them climb back to the top of the standings in Spain’s top-flight, however, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops find themselves trailing by a goal to nil.
This comes after Hugo Duro slotted home on the rebound from close range just shy of the half-hour mark.
As alluded to above, though, many of a Real Madrid persuasion were left feeling altogether aggrieved upon Duro’s finish finding the net.
As much comes amid claims that a free-kick should have been awarded in favour of the evening’s visitors, for a foul on Rodrygo in the Valencia half.
Clear foul on Rodrygo not called before the goal. 😬
