Real Madrid dealt 3rd injury blow of the day
La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Monday evening been dealt yet another blow on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that a 2nd member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad has been forced to pull out of the France national team setup.
For those who may have missed it, earlier today, word was forthcoming that Ferland Mendy had been sent home from Didier Deschamps’ Bleus camp.
This came owing to what was described as a ‘tibia injury’ in his right leg.

News of as much came fresh on the back of confirmation that Dani Ceballos, too, has been condemned to a spell on the sidelines.
The Spanish international suffered a sprained ankle in Real Madrid’s meeting with Real Betis on Sunday, expected to be out of action for a spell of five to eight weeks as a result.
And, as alluded to above, this evening, the concerning news has only continued to pile up for those behind the scenes at Valdebebas.
This comes with Aurélien Tchouaméni, too, having been sent back to Spain’s capital by the French national team doctors.
As per a report from The Athletic’s Guillermo Rai, midfielder Tchouaméni is struggling with an ongoing metatarsal issue, which has thrown his participation against Real Sociedad on the far side of the international break up in the air.
