Real Madrid could have 3 injured players available for Real Sociedad clash
Injury-ravaged Real Madrid are expected to have three members of the club’s sidelined contingent back available to play at least some part in the club’s next fixture.
The subject of personnel woes, of course, has taken its place front and centre in the headlines in Spain’s capital across the week to date.
This comes after a whole host of Real’s stars were condemned to respective spells on the sidelines.
First up was Dani Ceballos, before all of Ferland Mendy, Aurélien Tchouaméni and Éder Militão were forced to pull out of international duty.
Then, earlier today, youngster Jacobo Ramón, too, was added to the Blancos absentee list.
Jacobo Ramón is also injured, as reported by @marca.
Pending more tests, he will be out for around two weeks.@TheAthleticFC— Mario Cortegana (@MarioCortegana) September 6, 2024
Add to this the pre-existing absences of Eduardo Camavinga, Jude Bellingham, David Alaba and Jesús Vallejo, and the situation in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad reaches nothing short of crisis levels.
Safe to say, then, that the Real Madrid persuasion are likely nothing short of desperate for some positive news on the personnel front.
And, late on Friday, precisely that has been forthcoming.
As per a report from Blancos insider Mario Cortegana, the expectation is that all of Bellingham, Mendy and Tchouaméni will be called up for matchday duties against Real Sociedad in Real’s post-international break return to action.
