Real Madrid consider move for PSG’s Vitinha

After a difficult first season, Vitinha (24) has established himself as a key figure at Paris Saint-Germain. The Portugal international was an ever-present last season, even being singled out as Les Parisiens’ player of the season by Luis Enrique.

Despite a dip in form in Autumn, Vitinha has continued to feature prominently for PSG. This season, he has played 20 games, scoring three goals in that time, whilst starting five out of Les Parisiens’ UEFA Champions League games. His growth has not gone unnoticed.

According to a report from Diario AS, Real Madrid are interested in signing the midfielder. The La Liga giants are looking to recruit in midfield and have identified the PSG man as a key target, alongside Real Sociedad’s Martín Zubimendi (25). Whilst both midfielders are being considered by Los Blancos, the club are yet to choose which one is the priority. Strengthening in this position is, however, a priority.
