Real Madrid academy trio amassing interest from several clubs – report
Real Madrid’s La Fabrica academy is celebrated for its ability to nurture exceptional talent and players with high ceilings.
However, with the first team’s high level of competition, many of these promising young players find themselves struggling for opportunities.
As a result, the club often decides to sell or loan out these emerging stars, seeking to balance their growth with the needs of the senior squad.
In fact, since 2010, Real Madrid have generated over €200 million from the sales of players developed through their renowned academy.
Considerable interest in Real Madrid’s youth prospects
Now, according to MARCA (h/t RM4 Arab) several top-tier Spanish teams are showing interest in signing Real Madrid academy trio Nico Paz, Alvaro Rodriguez, and Raul Asencio.
With limited spots available in the first team, there might be opportunities for these promising talents to move if a compelling offer comes through. The Merengues are open to considering exits for these players if it benefits both parties.
Reports have mentioned that Los Blancos are asking for €10 million for Nico Paz and Alvaro Rodriguez, and are willing to give away only 50% of the players’ rights.
Asencio also has his fair share of suitors with many Spanish clubs inquiring about the young defender.
Among the names mentioned Nico Paz is arguably considered the player with the highest potential and may even find himself continuing in the Spanish capital following Toni Kroos’ retirement and Dani Ceballos’ potential exit.
However, growing competition in the first team and the need to generate player sales to make room for new arrivals may compel Real Madrid to cash out on him, too.
