Ready to watch Boise State at No. 7 Oregon? Don’t forget it’s on this streaming service
Boise State football fans looking to watch the Broncos’ game at No. 7 Oregon this weekend will have to pay a handful of dollars or find a watch party — unless they subscribe to a particular streaming service already.
The game will air exclusively on Peacock on Saturday night. Kickoff at Autzen Stadium in Eugene is set for 8 p.m. Mountain time.
It’s the only Boise State game this season not being aired on national television.
The game is on Peacock because of a deal the Big Ten Conference made with NBC, ABC and Fox in 2022. The conference signed a $7 billion, seven-year contract to place games exclusively on those three networks and eight games per year exclusively on Peacock, which NBC owns.
Oregon is playing its first season in the Big Ten this fall, joining Washington, UCLA and USC in an exodus from the Pac-12.
Unfortunately, Peacock doesn’t offer a free trial. If you want to purchase Peacock just for this weekend’s game, the standard option is $7.99 per month, while the “premium plus” package, which is ad-free, costs $13.99 per month. Peacock also is marketing a football season deal of $4.99 per month for four months.
There are cheaper options if you’re a student, first responder or qualify for a military discount. The student and first responder discounts costs just $1.99 monthly, and the military discount is $2.99 monthly.
If you’d rather skip paying, you can listen to the game on the radio by tuning into KBOI (670 AM), KTIK (93.1 FM) or Sirius XM Channel 390.
