Bristol Bears centre Kalaveti Ravouvou has signed a contract extension with the Premiership club.

The Fiji international has scored seven tries for Pat Lam's side since joining Bristol in the summer of 2023.

He carried the ball 230 metres during last month's 54-24 win at Leicester Tigers, the second highest total recorded in a Premiership game.

"He is one of the most devastating backs in the competition," said director of rugby Lam.

"I believe we're all seeing his world-class ability come to the fore with some outstanding performances this season.

"Kala's ability to play across the backline is huge for us with a smaller squad and we look forward to seeing him develop further over the next few seasons."

Bristol are currently second in the table behind rivals Bath ahead of Saturday's away game at Saracens.

And Ravouvou's contract extension follows new deals signed by 10 team-mates last month.

"I've really enjoyed my time at Bristol so far and love the culture, environment and my teammates, so it was an easy decision to stay," the 26-year-old said.

"The brand of rugby here really suits my game and I'm excited to see what this team can achieve over the next few years."
