Ravens, 49ers to hold joint practices

The Harbaugh brothers will have a lot of time to spend each in other in early August.

Following the preseason game between the Ravens and 49ers on Aug. 7, the two teams will hold combined practices with each other at the Under Armour Performance Center in Owings Mills, Md. Ravens coach John Harbaugh announced this while being inducted into the Miami (Ohio) Cradle of Coaches, via The Baltimore Sun.

Plenty of teams have elected to hold combined practices with other teams in recent years. For both John Harbaugh and Jim Harbaugh, it makes sense, given the 49ers are flying cross-country for an exhibition game.

The two teams will have a light practice the day after the preseason game. That will be followed by three regular practices at the Ravens' facility.

“It’s just going to be fantastic," John Harbaugh told The Sun. "I can’t wait to do it.”
