Rash red card curbs Colombia's celebrations in Copa AmĂ©rica semi đł
The first half of Colombia and Uruguayâs Copa AmĂ©rica semi-final featured some dramatic scenes in the final five minutes!
The match was a flurry of first-half action as both teams had few opportunities to open the scoring.
It seemed like Marcelo Bielsaâs men would strike first as a surging Darwin NĂșñez had three long-range efforts blast inches wide. The Liverpool star has attempted the most shots at the tournament (20).
However, James RodrĂguez then had his say. Colombiaâs captain delivered an inch-perfect corner kick and Jefferson Lerma headed home. Itâs his sixth assist at the tournament in five games, equalling the all-time record.

Minutes after the goal, Colombiaâs celebrations were ultimately cut short as they went down to 10 men.
Daniel Muñoz, who was already carrying a yellow, appeared to elbow Manuel Ugarte, and the referee sent him off for the rash decision.
