Things got a little heated in Toronto Tuesday night.

During the third quarter of the Heat’s 90-89 win over the Raptors, Toronto’s Serge Ibaka and Miami’s James Johnson were both ejected after exchanging blows.

While waiting for the ball to be inbounded, Ibaka slapped Johnson’s hand away from him twice and the former Raptor responded by throwing a straight right to Ibaka’s face. The brief exchange was swiftly broken up by referees and teammates, which is probably a good thing for Ibaka.

Johnson, a second-degree black belt, was ejected last February for scuffling with Atlanta’s Taurean Prince while Ibaka was thrown out of a game against the Bulls back in March for the same misconduct.

But it wasn’t over there. After the final buzzer sounded on Miami’s victory — which put an end to Toronto’s 12-game home win streak — another scuffle broke out between Goran Dragic and the mild-mannered DeMar DeRozan.

It is unclear whether any further discipline will be handed out to Ibaka and Johnson, but what’s abundantly clear is that these two teams really don’t like each other.
