Toronto Raptors guard Fred VanVleet exited the team’s game against the Golden State Warriors on Friday with a strained left hip flexor and did not return.

VanVleet checked out of the game after playing just 19 minutes. He posted seven points, three assists and one rebound prior to leaving the contest.

VanVleet joins teammate Kyle Lowry on the sidelines, as Lowry was diagnosed with a right toe infection earlier this week. Raptors head coach Nick Nurse listed his return for 7-10 days.

The team will likely address VanVleet’s injury with more details after the game is over. Toronto held a sixty-point lead Golden State in the early stages of the fourth quarter, and emerged with a massive 130-74 victory.

The Raptors do have some time off between games, as the team does not play again until Monday.
