Ranieri pushes back Frattesi rumors: “You can’t spend that much money.”

Claudio Ranieri answered questions about Roma’s transfer plans in his pre-match interview with DAZN.

The veteran technician spoke a few minutes prior to the team’s kick-off against Bologna.

“Frattesi? Nothing is definite yet from what I’ve read,” he said when asked about the links with the Inter midfielder.

“Honestly you can’t spend that much money,” he added, referring to Inter’s rumored pricetag of 45 million euros.

“It’s a shame that our fans couldn’t come today. We miss them. They are our oxygen, our blood. We will try to make them proud.”

On his decision to start the same line-up from the Rome derby: “We need to give continuity to the boys, these players are deserving of it. Even those who are not playing are making things difficult for me.”
