Rangers Overage Forward Commits to Clarkson

Kitchener Rangers' overage forward Adrian Misaljevic recently announced his commitment to play for Clarkson University in the NCAA next season.

"We are excited for Adrian to take the next step in his hockey career," said Kitchener GM Mike McKenzie. "He entered the league as an undrafted free agent and has worked his way into a position to continue playing high-level hockey while getting his education."

Misaljevic will join teammate Jackson Parsons at Clarkson. The goaltender was the first OHL player to commit to an NCAA school after the announcement of the eligibility changes.

The 5-foot-11 forward joined the Rangers during the 2021-22 season and has played for the team ever since. During that time Misaljevic scored 117 points in 180 games with Kitchener.

He currently leads the Rangers with 39 points in 37 games played this season. His point total has been fueled by some big spike games this season including a six-point effort against Sudbury at the beginning of November.

Clarkson sits twentieth in the NCAA men's hockey rankings. Dallas Stars' prospect Ayrton Martino leads the team with 13 points in 18 games.

Misaljevic's hard work and scoring ability will be a great addition to Clarkson's program. He comes with nearly 200 games of OHL experience as well as 31 games of playoff experience.
