Yahoo Sports Rams take out full page ad dedicated to those affected by Southern California fires
The Los Angeles Rams are continuing to make the best out of their last-minute location change for the upcoming week’s Monday Night Football game, which was scheduled to take place in Mexico City and will be played at home in Los Angeles instead.
Earlier this week, the team announced that it would give out thousands of free tickets to first responders and victims who lives have been turned upside down by the wildfires ravaging Southern California for the past two weeks. They’ll work with local groups like the L.A. and Ventura County fire departments and city officials to distribute those tickets.
The team’s goodwill streak was extended by Friday morning’s edition of the Los Angeles Times, which featured a full-page ad dedicated to the first responders, victims, and everyone else affected by the fires, paid for by the Rams.
Here’s what it says:
Maybe you were born here.
Maybe you moved here.
But you are Los Angeles

Or here for college. Or you’re 7th generation.

Given that the Rams just moved back to L.A. two years ago, but had a 20-year stint there prior, it’s great to the team taking on a leadership position in the city’s time of need.
