Who will the Rams play next? Los Angeles' divisional round opponent determined
The Los Angeles Rams started the 2024 NFL season slowly, going 1-4 over their first five games as key injuries piled up on offense. However, after their Week 6 bye, the Rams won nine of their next 11 games to clinch their first NFC West title since 2021.
Los Angeles finished the regular season with the 10th-ranked passing offense in the league despite top wide receivers Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp missing a combined nine games due to injury. Quarterback Matthew Stafford played his best football in the second half of the season, throwing 11 touchdowns to just one interception from Week 11 onward. The defense, powered by outstanding rookie edge rusher Jared Verse, made enough plays during that stretch to keep the team in contention for a division title.
With NFC West foes Seattle and Arizona fading late in the season, Los Angeles wrapped up the division crown before Week 18. However, due to the ongoing wildfires in the area, the Rams did not host a playoff game in Los Angeles. Instead, they played the No. 5 seed Minnesota Vikings at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.

Who will Rams play next?
The Rams will face the second-highest seed remaining in the NFC bracket: the No. 2 seed Philadelphia Eagles, thanks to the No. 6 seed Washington Commanders winning their wild-card game.
Philadelphia bottled up NFC North contender Green Bay in a 22-10 win in their wild-card game. The Packers defense held the Eagles offense in check for most of the game but Philadelphia's defense and multiple injuries were too much for Green Bay's offense to overcome.
Los Angeles and Philadelphia last played each other on "Sunday Night Football" in Week 12 of the regular season. Philadelphia won 37-20 on the road.
