Under sporting advisor Luis Campos, Paris Saint-Germain has formed a strong connection to Portugal, scooping up top young talents such as Vitinha, João Neves, and Gonçalo Ramos. Now it seems the Ligue 1 side will be plotting another transfer pursuit.

Moreover, the Parisians have a transfer strategy of securing young talent before they even scratch their potential. So, who’s the latest player on the capital club’s radar?

Foot Mercato reports that PSG, Manchester City, and Manchester United are all interested in Sporting Lisbon’s 17-year-old talent, Geovany Quenda. The Red Devils eyeing the teenager shouldn’t be a surprise considering their new manager Rúben Amorim just arrived from the Lisbon side.

Quenda has made 16 total appearances across all competitions for Sporting this season, scoring two goals and recording one assist. The teenager is also under contract with the Portuguese side until 2027, so Sporting aren’t obliged to sell him now.

It will be interesting to see if the Parisians pursue the wonderkid to bolster the wing position for the foreseeable future, understanding that Bradley Barcola is only 22 years old.
