Yahoo Sports Queen City Senior Bowl high school football all-star game rosters: Who made the teams?
Rosters for the 2024 Queen City Senior Bowl have been released.
The annual game features Charlotte-area high school seniors, from public and private schools, in an all-star game. This year’s event will be held Dec. 21 at Olympic High School at 1 p.m. Gates open at noon. General admission tickets are available online and are $10.
This year’s game will be streamed, but the provider has not yet been determined.
▪ Independence’s DJ McFadden is head coach of the East team and has these assistants: Kenneth McClamrock, Rocky River; Aubrey Carter, Marvin Ridge; Breon Holmes, Cox Mill; Darren Shepherd, Concord; Ryan Smith, Sun Valley; Chris Redding, Ballantyne Ridge and Dustin Martin, Cannon.

▪ The N.C. High School Athletic Association has extended its football season by a week to accommodate western N.C. teams affected by Hurricane Helene. That change pushed its state championship games back to Dec. 20-21.
