BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Kody Dupuis' goal at 10:59 of the second period snapped a 1-1 tie and lifted the visiting Shawinigan Cataractes to a 2-1 win over the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League action on Saturday.
Vince Elie also scored for the Cataractes, who were outshot 30-26, but got a 29-save performance from netminder Felix Hamel. The Cataractes improved to 3-1.
Justin Poirier scored for the Drakkar, who slipped to 2-1.
The Drakkar were 1-for-4 on the power play, while the Cataractes went 1-for-2.
