PWHL Players Host Girls Skate Clinic in Seattle

Seattle, WA - Young skaters in Seattle were given the opportunity of a lifetime last Saturday, as the Kraken Community Iceplex hosted a youth girls' skate with members of the Professional Women's Hockey League.

Mikyla Grant-Mentis and Claire Degeorge of the Montréal Victoire, along with the Boston Fleet's Sidney Morin, Amanda Pelkey, and Emily Brown, came together for a special girls skate clinic. The event, held on the Smartsheet rink, took place after the players completed their team practices in preparation for Sunday's PWHL Takeover game at Climate Pledge Arena.

Katelyn Parker, “You can just stay in the background and allow the event to happen, or you can rise up with it and be part of it. And for us in our community that's still growing, I think it's so important to be able to take these activations and be able to really shine some light on what's happening at Climate Pledge Arena and engage different members of the community and the girls that it's going to impact.”
