Pundits disagree on the outcome of Chelsea vs Arsenal today as predictions come in
It is almost time for the big London derby this weekend as Chelsea as The Blues welcome Arsenal to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
The league looks so very unpredictable and very close right now, with any team looking like they have the capability of beating any other on their day. There is no easy fixture in this league now with so much quality and so much desire of other teams to face up and challenge.
EXCLUSIVE! Agents are touting a couple of big name Chelsea players to other clubs!
Chelsea are looking much better this season under Enzo Maresca, and although Arsenal started the campaign well, they have stuttered a bit in recent games.
Pundit Troy Deeney though, still thinks Arsenal are going to win easily today. In words picked up by TBR football, Deeney said:
“No Declan Rice, but Odegaard is back which is a massive change. I still think Arsenal are the better team,” Deeney said.
“Maybe no Cole Palmer as well, so I will say, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that Arsenal get back to winning ways with a dominant performance, Arsenal will win 3-1.”
Former Arsenal hero disagrees
Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour is not as confident as that though, and he is predicting a score draw today for his previous club.
In words picked up by TBR Football, Parlour said:
“Well, this is a real big game. Look, Chelsea are really doing well at the moment, fourth and above Arsenal on goal difference, but going to Stamford Bridge is always a daunting place to go. Good form. Eight goals last night,” Parlour said on Friday’s edition of TalkSPORT Breakfast.
“Got lots of confidence at the moment, Chelsea. I really like Maresca, what he has done so far for the team. Palmer’s a big, whether he is going to play or not, we will have to wait and see.
“Odegaard is a massive boost for Arsenal. I am going to go, I really hope Arsenal can win, but I am going to go 1-1. I am going to go 1-1. Goal scorer – let’s go, he was quiet the other day, Saka, so let’s go Saka. 1-1.”
I agree with this prediction, I’m going 1-1 too.
