Pulisic: ‘No easy games in Italy’ for Milan after Real Madrid coup

Christian Pulisic has discovered ‘there are no easy games in Italy’ and realises Milan will be forced to work hard against Cagliari this evening.

It kicks off at the Unipol Domus at 17.00 GMT.

You can follow all the build-up and action as it happens from this game, Venezia-Parma and Juventus-Torino on the Liveblog.

The mood in the Rossoneri camp is brimming with confidence following Wednesday’s massive 3-1 Champions League victory away to Real Madrid, conquering the Estadio Bernabeu with goals from Malick Thiaw, Alvaro Morata and Tijjani Reijnders.

“It was a great result against Real Madrid, but this evening is more important, as we need points in Serie A,” Pulisic told DAZN.

The USMNT star is in his second season in Italy and is now giving his television interviews in Italian.

He has also been here long enough to realise that Serie A is very tough on a tactical level even against the teams in the relegation zone.

“In Italy there are no easy games! Today is difficult too, we need to keep moving off the ball, because in Italy they often man-mark, so we have to create those spaces,” added Pulisic.

Francesco Camarda is getting his first Serie A start at the age of 16 years and 244 days, so have Pulisic and his older teammates given the youngster any advice?

“He is a good player, he doesn’t need advice and today he will prove that on the pitch.”
