PSV Eindhoven have confirmed that Peter Bosz has been hit with a conditional one-match ban for controversial comments made after his side’s win over Sparta Rotterdam on the 5th of October. Bosz will be in the dugout for Saturday’s match against AZ Alkmaar as the suspended sentence made by the disciplinary committee holds a two-year probationary period.

After PSV’s clash with Sparta Rotterdam earlier this month, Peter Bosz expressed his dissatisfaction with referee Danny Makkelie’s performance. Speaking to ESPN after the 2-1 win, Bosz slammed the referee’s ‘awful’ decisions, adding that he’s ’always angry’ with Makkelie. The disciplinary committee deemed this to be an attack on the official and felt a penalty was justified.

Peter Bosz has been warned that if he acts in this way again, his conditional suspension will be converted into an immediate punishment. The Dutchman will be on the bench for Saturday’s crucial clash.
