PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani dropped for Lyon clash
PSG striker and France international Randal Kolo Muani (26) has been dropped by Luis Enrique for Les Parisiens‘ Ligue 1 home clash against Lyon. Kolo Muani’s €90m transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt to the Ligue 1 champions looks increasingly ill-fated as the former Nantes forward can’t seem to make his mark in the French capital. Despite limited game time, Kolo Muani has logged two goals and one assist this season but it looks like the Spanish manager has effectively run out of patience with the France international, who won’t even make the bench tonight at the Parc des Princes.

Despite PSG’s stuttering form in Ligue 1 as well as in front of goal – Les Parisiens have drawn their last two games against Nantes and Auxerre – Luis Enrique has elected that Kolo Muani would be surplus to requirements against Les Gones, the most in-form team in Ligue 1. Lyon have won their last four outings, in Ligue 1 as well as in Europa League. Kolo Muani is not the only senior PSG player to be dropped by the Spaniard. Established centre-backs Milan Skriniar (29) and Presnel Kimpembe (29) won’t feature tonight against Pierre Sage’s team.
