PSG set to seal Joao Neves’ deal next week

Paris Saint-Germain are closing on Joao Neves’ (19) deal and are hopeful to seal the Portuguese midfielder’s transfer next week, reports Foot Mercato.

While the fee for Neves’ transfer remains unknown, the 19-year-old central midfielder will undoubtedly sign for a lower amount than his €120M release clause. Instead, Les Parisiens could close the deal for around €70M, while Renato Sanches (26) will be included in the deal. The player is now training apart from the first team in order to avoid any injury before joining his formative club, nine years after having left for Bayern Munich.

According to Foot Mercato, Joao Neves is set to sign next week, with PSG already preparing his medical. The French outlet reports that the Capital club has prepared a 5-year contract for Benfica’s talented midfielder, who is set to earn €5M per year. While the deal is not sealed yet, both clubs are set to find an agreement soon, reports the French outlet.
