What PSG’s pursuit of Victor Osimhen means for RB Leipzig
RB Leipzig’s pursuit of a No. 9 is well documented and with Paris Saint-Germain interested in Victor Osimhen (25), this could pave the way for Randal Kolo Muani to relocate to Germany.
As reported by RMC Sport, via our colleagues at Get French Football News, PSG are looking to recruit Osimhen, who has scored nine and created five in 12 games while on loan at Süper Lig side Galatasaray from Napoli. The Nigerian forward was valued around €120m in the summer, but would be considerably cheaper now.
Should Osimhen join the Parisien side in January, that could allow Kolo Mauni to join Leipzig. The Saxony side are looking to inject speed into their attack with only three of their players (Lois Openda, Benjamin Sesko and David Raum) making the Bundesliga’s top 50 quickest player metric. The Frenchman has played just 425 minutes across all competitions for Luis Enrique’s side this season, scoring two and creating one.
