Even though he might not always be a regular starter, Brahim Diaz has proved himself to be a very valuable member of the Real Madrid squad since his return last year.

The 25-year-old versatile forward came back to the Santiago Bernabeu in 2023, after spending three years on loan at AC Milan and went on to play an important role in last season’s Spanish Super Cup, La Liga, and UEFA Champions League success.

This season again, even though his minutes have been regulated, the Moroccan has made the most of his chances, registering two goals and three assists from 18 games (836 minutes).

Indeed, following his impressive 2023/24 season, the 25-year-old Moroccan international attracted widespread interest from across Europe, with PSG said to have been one of his most ardent suitors.

Les Parisiens’ manager Luis Enrique is understood to be a huge admirer of the Real Madrid ace and wanted him at the Parc des Princes last summer.

However, nothing came of it as Brahim has always been clear about his future – his dream remains to continue playing and winning titles with Real Madrid.

The 25-year-old has managed to stand out in Ancelotti’s squad despite the presence of superstar names like Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr., Kylian Mbappe, and Federico Valverde, among others.

The former Manchester City ace might not be a guaranteed starter week in week out but is someone that enjoys the trust of manager Ancelotti. And despite there being interest from elsewhere, he remains focused on succeeding at Real Madrid.
