PSG Face ‘Obstacle Course’ Against Arsenal, Bayern Munich in Champions League, Expert Warns
Paris Saint-Germain secured a 1-0 win over Girona FC this past week to open the UEFA Champions League with three points. However, it wasn’t a convincing result as they needed an error to secure the lone goal in the contest.
The performance is concerning since PSG’s other opponents in the competition are playing well right now.
Arsenal nearly escaped with a 2-1 win over Manchester City while playing with 10 men, VfB Stuttgart defeated Borussia Dortmund 5-1, Manchester City scored a stoppage-time goal to draw against Arsenal, and Bayern Munich have scored 20 goals in their last three matches.
Ahead of these clashes in the coming weeks in the Champions League, Canal Supporters’ Jonathan Bensadoun noted that Luis Enrique and his team have a “real obstacle course ahead” if they want to advance past the league phase and into the knockout stage.

PSG’s next Champions League match will be on October 1, when they travel to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal. The reigning Ligue 1 champions must find their finishing boots for this match.
Moreover, the Parisians will look to show that the match against Girona was a one-off and that the squad can finish their scoring chances.
