PSG confirm Ousmane Dembélé’s absence against Arsenal
Ousmane Dembélé’s (27) absences from the Paris Saint-Germain squad to face Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League has been confirmed by the French club.
Dembélé has been a mainstay in the PSG side that currently sit top of Ligue 1. The France international has featured in all six of Les Parisiens league games, scoring four goals and registering four assists in that time. He started and registered an assist during the 3-1 victory over Stade Rennais on Friday evening.

However, it was reported by L’Équipe earlier on Monday that the former Barcelona winger had been involved in a heated argument with manager Luis Enrique following that win over Rennes. The Spaniard’s reaction to that argument has been to leave Dembélé out of the squad to face Arsenal for disciplinary reasons.
Whilst the Frenchman will be absent from proceedings at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday, Vitinha may be involved having been included in the travelling squad.
