With Flyers forward Joel Farabee being a healthy scratch for this game, Olle Lycksell will be back in the Flyers' lineup for the first time since their Dec. 21 matchup against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

This is a golden chance for Lycksell to show the Flyers that he deserves more opportunities to play with the NHL squad. If he leaves a good impression, it will undoubtedly improve his chances of staying on the Flyers' roster moving forward.

Lycksell has earned the chance to play with the Flyers, too. The 2017 sixth-round pick has been excellent down in the AHL with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms this season, posting nine goals and 24 points in 25 contests. He also had four goals and eight points in his last four games with the Phantoms before getting recalled by Philly.

It will be very intriguing to see how much of an impact Lycksell can make against the Ducks from here. In 27 NHL games over three seasons with the Flyers, he has one goal, five assists, and a minus-3 rating.
