Projected Lineup: Oilers Make New Changes Against Bruins

The Oilers are icing yet another new lineup tonight.

After shuffling the forward lines during the past few games, they'll debut yet another brand-new line tonight in Boston, as the Skinner-Henrique-Hyman line from yesterday's practice will get into its first game.

Corey Perry will also return to the lineup, after getting the day off for Saturday's game in Seattle. Derek Ryan will take his place in the press box as the two veterans continue to shuffle in and out of the lineup.

Troy Stecher will join Ryan in the press box, sitting in favour of the recently called-up Josh Brown. This will be Brown's fourth game of the season, and his first since being recalled from Bakersfield on Saturday. Brown has three points in 20 games with Bakersfield this season.

That all works out to a lineup that looks like this:

Ryan Nugent Hopkins - Connor McDavid - Connor Brown

Vasily Podkolzin - Leon Draisaitl - Viktor Arvidsson

Jeff Skinner - Adam Henrique - Zach Hyman

Kasperi Kapanen - Mattias Janmark - Corey Perry

Mattias Ekholm - Evan Bouchard

Darnell Nurse - Brett Kulak

Ty Emberson - Josh Brown

Stuart Skinner

While Stecher has spent about half his time with Darnell Nurse and half with Ty Emberson, I don't expect we'll see much of Josh Brown on the second pair. Kulak and Nurse have spent time together in almost every game for two months now and should be the second pair with Stecher scratched.

The Oilers will be looking to sweep their season series against Boston tonight, having defeated them in overtime at home on December 19th.

They also enter tonight's game on a three-game win streak, beating Utah and Anaheim at home before kicking off their four-game road trip with a win in Seattle on Saturday. A win tonight would give them sole possession of second place in the Pacific Division.

The Bruins, meanwhile, are trying to snap a four-game losing streak that began on December 31st. They're barely hanging on to the third seed in the Atlantic Division, three points up on Tampa Bay with five more games played.

They've made their own lineup changes for tonight's game, shaking up their blueline to create an imposing second pairing of Nikita Zadorov (6'6") and Brandon Carlo (6'5").

Tonight's game gets underway at 5:00 MT, at TD Garden in Boston.
