Prime Video's U.K. Rap and Drill-Inspired Series 'Jungle' Receives First Teaser Trailer

Amazon Prime Video has delivered the first teaser trailer for Jungle, its upcoming original drama series based on the U.K.'s rap and drill scenes.

The six-episode scripted series, directed by Nothing Lost, aka Junior Okoli and Chas Appeti, will follow the overlapping stories of several strangers living in inner city London, each of whom faces their own set of struggles. Woven with rap and drill music, the show will feature a slew of the top British rap and drill artists, including Tinie Tempah, Big Narstie, Unknown T, Jordan McCann, IAMDDB, Double Lz and more.

Aside from the aforementioned artists, the cast includes Ezra Elliott as Gogo, RA as Slim. M24 as 6ix, J Fado as Chapo, K Koke as Stacks, Jaykae as Willow, IAMDDB as Mia, Seyi Andes-Pelumi as Danial and AMARIA BB as Bianca.

"Frequently misunderstood, it’s a world where one law governs everything: only the strongest will survive," the official logline reads. "As the strangers’ worlds begin to unravel around them, they come to the realisation that every action, no matter how small, has a consequence. Portraying the city through compelling visuals whilst detailing the many perils of day-to-day life in inner city London, Jungle ultimately seeks to convey a bigger message about the true value of life.”

Jungle is scheduled to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 30. Watch the teaser above.

Elsewhere, Viola Davis is set to play the villain in the upcoming Hunger Games prequel.
