The possibility of one midfield arrival was shut down on Tuesday as Manchester City simultaneously finalised a big-money exit for one first-team striker talent.

Arrivals

Ipswich Town have agreed a deal with Manchester City to sign Liam Delap, paying an initial £15 million with an additional £5 million due in potential add-ons. The 21-year-old is expected to undergo a medical on Wednesday with personal terms not anticipated to be an issue.
