Premier League & La Liga Clubs Make Offer To Loan Inter Milan & Canada Star

Clubs in the Premier League and La Liga have made offers to loan Inter Milan wingback Tajon Buchanan in January.

This according to Canadian broadcaster TSN, via FCInterNews. They report, however, that as of now the 25-year-old’s decision is to stay at Inter for the second half of the season.

Right now, Buchanan is not a regular starter at Inter.

The Canadian international arrived at the Nerazzurri twelve months ago. They signed him from Club Brugge during the January transfer window of last season.

Buchanan suffered a serious leg break during the summer. That sidelined him for a number of months.

However, in November Buchanan made his return to the pitch.

However, Buchanan’s return to the team has been a gradual one, as expected after such a serious injury.

And even with the Canadian now fully fit, his playing time has not been massive.

Buchanan has the likes of Federico Dimarco, Carlos Augusto, Denzel Dumfries, and Matteo Darmian for competition in the wingback positions.

Therefore, TSN reports, some clubs in the English and Spanish top slights have sounded out the possibility of loaning Buchanan during the January transfer window.

These clubs’ hope would be that the offer of a more consistent starting role could tempt the 25-year-old.

TSN report that Inter have sat down with Buchanan to take stock of his situation.

However, the broadcaster anticipate, the Canadian international has decided that his priority is to stay at Inter this month and fight for more playing time.
