Premier League clubs ready to rival Chelsea’s interest in Mathys Tel
The race for Mathys Tel (19) is heating up. Fabrizio Romano revealed earlier tonight that the Frenchman is keen to leave his current club Bayern Munich during the ongoing transfer window.
The Frenchman who made his professional debut in Ligue 1 with Stade Rennais has been a clear target for Chelsea this winter. The club have been heavily linked with a move for the forward, including in a swap deal for Christopher Nkunku.
Tel reportedly rejected Chelsea’s initial bid as he wanted to remain in Germany and fight for his future with the Bundesliga side. However, the situation appears to have developed, with the winger looking for more game time.
Marseille interested in securing Mathys Tel on loan
Fabrice Hawkins reports that Premier League rivals are set to enter the race for the forward, while Olympique de Marseille have been keen on securing him on a loan deal. However, this appears to be complicated. Not withstanding a major turnaround, Tel will likely not end up at Marseille.
