Chelsea are hopeful that Cole Palmer will recover in time from the knock he sustained against Manchester United last weekend.

Jaden Sancho, who has not played since mid-October because of illness, could be available.

Arsenal will assess midfielder Declan Rice, who missed the midweek European defeat by Inter Milan with a minor foot injury.

Martin Odegaard, who played for the first time since the end of August in a cameo substitute appearance against Inter, could feature again.
