It barely seems like a minute since France lifted the World Cup trophy in the pouring Moscow rain, but the European domestic seasons loom large.

In a World Cup summer, the world’s biggest clubs have a limited amount of time in which to conduct their transfer business. And its a particularly small window for the Premier League, who have agreed to close the window the day before the season starts in 2018-19.
