The 2025 Pro Football Hall of Fame semifinalists were announced on Wednesday, with plenty of NFL greats represented on the shortlist like quarterback Eli Manning.

We've decided to go through and pick the seven players we think have the most likely chance at getting in this go-around. While you never know how the Hall of Fame voters will decide to handle each new class of prospective veterans, we do know these seven guys would make a ton of sense.

Some of these guys will make it in on their first attempts, while some of these guys have been waiting quite some time to get their gold jackets. Let's break them down and why they have good odds.

QB Eli Manning

Manning took down the greatest dynasty in NFL history twice in the Super Bowl, is part of one of football's most famous families and is one of the greatest New York Giants of all time. Here's your safest lock of this future Hall of Fame class. Manning will make it in on his first attempt.

K Adam Vinatieri

Vinatieri is arguably the greatest place kicker of all time. A key member of those New England Patriots Super Bowl teams, we don't think Vinatieri waits long to get his gold jacket.

LB Luke Kuechly

Kuechly set a standard for linebacker play with the Carolina Panthers in the 2010s that NFL players are still trying to reach. He's got as good a chance at getting in on his first year of eligibility as any player has recently.

WR Torry Holt

Holt has been a semifinalist 11 times in the past. As one of the integral members of "The Greatest Show on Turf," we have a feeling the Hall of Fame voters will finally give the wide receiver his due.

TE Antonio Gates

Gates helped redefine the tight end position with the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers. He's one of the all-time Chargers players and all-time tight ends in NFL history. He should make it in on his second year of eligibility if the Hall of Fame voters do the right thing.

DE Jared Allen

Allen has been a semifinalist on five different occasions, but it'd feel strange if the Minnesota Vikings great didn't make it this time around. He's 12th on the all-time NFL sack list.

S Darren Woodson

Woodson, the all-time Dallas Cowboys safety, has been a semifinalist nine different times. Like Holt, he feels like someone who is beyond due his gold jacket. Perhaps the Hall of Fame voters finally push him over the finish line this time around. We think they will.
